A bit of background

I completed my undergraduate degrees: B.A (double major Psychology) and B.Comm (double major management) at UWA, then completed my Master of Counselling at Notre Dame WA. I was awarded the Cengage Dissertation Award (2014) for my research of Complex Trauma and the impact upon young Australians.

For many years I provided presentations to PSA and public schools around mental health, trauma, substance use, neurodevelopment, study and communication skills.

I have worked with a diverse range of populations, including gang affiliated young people in Los Angeles, at-risk young men in upstate New York, orphaned children in Indonesia, and homeless young people in Perth, Western Australia.

I co-facilitated groups on family dynamics, self-discovery, post-natal and new-parent concerns, communication strategies and anxiety-mood-depression frameworks.

I provided therapeutic support to many hundreds of young people and families during my years at Youth Focus (Perth) and Headspace. This included several years of therapeutic support as a school therapist and counsellor.

In my years of private practice, I have further refined my ability to meaningfully engage a broad range of people, providing valuable coaching and robust therapy according to the needs of each individual.

I now work a great deal with neurodiverse and neurotypical clients, supporting their goal of improved mental clarity, time management, communication and quality of life.

ADHD and ASD remain areas of specialisation, and are seldom found in isolation. As such, I integrate a great range of experiences, modalities and tools to facilitate growth and quality of life for individuals and families.
